Acting classes for individuals with an intellectual disability.
These classes give the student acting coaching and experience in a supportive environment to foster their imaginations, spur their abilities to present, and develop the confidence that is so necessary for all young people in today's world. Through acting exercises, lessons, and games, Lois teaches her students valuable life lessons, and focuses on growing the student's ability to focus, actively listen, and appropriately socialize with their peers. These skills are essential to have on an acting set and are incredibly valuable for life outside of acting.
Class size is conducive to more individual coaching and attention!
Classes are held from 5:45pm-7:00pm every Thursday from September 26 - December 5 at the Churchill Park United Church.

Through a variety of acting exercises, scene studies, audition techniques, improvisation, and voice work, students will develop essential skills such as concentration, active listening, and social interaction. All work is recorded for self-review and feedback. With a focus on the fundamentals and the "5 W's of Auditions," students will learn how to prepare for auditions effectively, ensuring they are always confident and well-prepared for any acting opportunity.
